One man, one week, one very big project!
This past week I put Mark to work building cabinets, bookcases and a new mantle for our fire place. He worked like a maniac! Pulling all-nighters and skipping meals to get it done. His boss (a.k.a. his dad) was out of town for the week so it was the perfect time to do it, and then I gave him a Friday-night deadline, because I was hosting a jewelry party. Luckily Mark works well under pressure, and it turned out beautifully!
Things did get pretty messy around here for a while, but it was so worth it! Now I just need to pick out knobs for the drawers and doors, and get busy filling them!
Thanks Mark, you're amazing!

It looks so good! Thankfully you have a very very handy husband!
Your shelves look beautiful Tamber! Mark makes the rest of the husbands look bad... I can't remember the last time I got Dan to do a project for me. Didn't you say he also built your dining table? Lucky you!
great job mark!!!! hope your party went well. it was a bad weekend for me and i know 3-4 other people that were interested in the jewelry but they couldn't make it. hopefully you'll throw another one
Can you send him down to my house as well? We still have rough edge drywall around our fireplace. It's only been four and a half years.
That looks amazing! Mark is a talented guy.Did you paint the whole room white? What a difference that makes.
It's fun to see the before and after. Mark did a great job!
oh tamber it's beautiful. way to go mark. show us a picture of when you get the handles and fill up all that space!
Mark is so good to get projects done for your deadlines - and the things he makes are always gorgeous. Didn't he stay up at night to get the nursery done at Grandma's before your baby shower too? I agree, send pictures of when you get it all decorated. =)
How amazing!! That looks so awesome! School is going good, Chris graduates in May so we're getting very excited! How are things for you guys??
Wow! That is impressive! Such talent! Cam and I were wondering how people just know how to do that kind of stuff....my brother-in-law is the same way.
Your house looks really nice!
That is absolutely gorgeous.
Wow now that is amazing! What a beautiful home you have! Nice work!
Mark is amazing with his hands. It seems though you can put him to work on anything and it will turn out a masterpiece. What else did he make? I'm now curious and would like to see photos of them if possible. :)
